WHY DO YOU CLIMB?
Climbing isn't just a hobby for me - it's a way of life. I'm driven by the thrill of pushing my limits and testing my strength, both physically and mentally. The adrenaline rush is addictive, but it's more than that - climbing gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
3 PROUDEST CLIMBING ACHIEVEMENTS
-
Projecting The Great Devoid (22) - I'll never forget the feeling of sending great devoid. It was my first time projecting a lead climb, and it took months of dedication to finally send it. Coming back weekend after weekend, working on the same climb, made the sense of accomplishment all the sweeter.
-
Ticking 3 Men and a Ladder (26) at Coolum - Sending a 26 just 1.5 years into my climbing journey was a huge deal for me. It showed me that my hard work was paying off, and it gave me the confidence to keep pushing myself.
-
Sending Weapon of Choice (27) - A few months ago, I set my sights on sending a 27 before heading to the Blue Mountains at the end of the year. It was an incredible feeling to achieve that goal, and it was a great reminder that committing to my goals and putting in the work can lead to amazing results.
MOST MEMORABLE CLIMB
Sending Harry's Horace (23) at the Blue Mountains - One climb that really stands out was sending Harry's Horace at the Blue Mountains. I'd set myself a goal to send a 23 before the end of my 10-day trip, and with only two days left, I was feeling the pressure. I put draws up, worked out the beta, and went for it. Sending it on my second-to-last day was a great feeling!
CURRENT PROJECT / GOAL
Current Project: I'm currently trying to send Screaming Insanity (26) at Coolum. Right now, I'm just trying to get the start boulder sorted, and then I'll start thinking about moving on to Spoon Man (27).
